THE STORY

Lisandra travelled to JRAD SKIN from Florida after years of struggling with severe hormonal acne, inflammation, cystic breakouts, and deep acne scarring following the removal of birth control. After visiting multiple doctors, dermatologists, and aestheticians over the years — many of whom continued recommending Accutane as her only option — she felt emotionally exhausted, discouraged, and deeply disconnected from her confidence.

At the time of her initial consultation, her skin presented with severe inflammation, painful cystic breakouts, extensive post-inflammatory pigmentation, active congestion, and widespread acne scarring throughout the cheeks, chin, and jawline. Beyond the physical symptoms, her skin had also begun taking a significant emotional toll, impacting her self-esteem, mental health, and day-to-day confidence.

In preparation for her wedding and hopeful for a different approach, she made the trip to Calgary to begin working with Jordan — a level of trust and commitment we remain incredibly grateful for. Over the course of four advanced corrective treatments beginning in March 2019, we focused on calming inflammation, reducing active breakouts, supporting the skin barrier, brightening pigmentation, and beginning the process of rebuilding scarred and damaged skin tissue.

Her treatment plan included combinations of Microderm Infusion, High Frequency, targeted Brightening Peels, Microneedling, and Enzymatic Peels, alongside a fully personalized homecare regimen.

Even within four treatments, the transformation within her skin was significant. Active inflammation reduced dramatically, congestion improved, pigmentation softened, and her overall skin health became visibly calmer, brighter, and more resilient. Most importantly, her confidence began returning in a way she had not experienced in years.
