THE STORY
Katryna came to JRAD SKIN after experiencing significant changes in her skin following the removal of birth control. Over the course of several months, she began developing increased inflammation, breakouts, texture, and post-inflammatory pigmentation throughout the cheeks and lower face — leaving her feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and disconnected from her confidence.
As Katryna and her husband prepared for pregnancy in the near future, it was important to her to find a supportive and realistic approach that did not rely on aggressive medication, Accutane, or returning to hormonal birth control.
Over the course of six advanced facial treatments between January and June, we completely simplified and rebuilt her skincare routine while also supporting small but impactful lifestyle shifts surrounding nutrition, hydration, supplementation, stress management, and internal inflammation support.
As her skin gradually became calmer, clearer, and more balanced, her confidence began returning as well.
